Our Heritage Sides are veg tanned. These smooth sides are perfect for carving and tooling. This leather has 2% chromium in the tanning process and is not ideal for burning. These hides are C grade and will have some natural characteristics like range marks, brands, or cuts which can be trimmed out or kept to give your projects a beautiful, natural look.
